Last Sunday was a very eventful day. Our good friend Jabee was playing the main stage at the Norman Music Festival! The N.M.F. is a yearly free music festival that is held in Norman, OK. Mostly local talents play but they do book out of state performers. If you didn’t have a chance to go this year, I highly recomend you going next year.
Jabee’s day was filled with tons of press. Interview after interview. He had to have done atleast 2,000 of them, ATLEAST. Most of all the questions were the same though… “What’s your inspiration?”, “How long have you been rapping?”, “What do you think about the Norman Music Festival?,” etc. etc. Note to you journalists…, try and spice things up a bit! Maybe say something like “So, who’s a better couple? Aladdin and Princess Jasmin? or Robin Hood and Maid Marian?” You know, more fun questions that are random.
Ok, instead of writing boring stuff about every picture. I’ll let the pictures do the talking. Pretty much all you need to know is that Jabee did an amazing set that had people in awe.

After Jabee’s set, I rushed over to see 8-Bit Cynics tear it up. Dewey and Saevio also performed a few songs with him on the mainstage.

On Thursday, March 4th Oklahoma City’s own Houston Boy released his first EP titled ‘So Ambitious’. The turn out of the show was good, there were a lot of people including rappers and producers who came out in support of Oklahoma Hip-Hop. Last Friday night was on point, The Puzzle People, Fur Face Boy and the Dallas homies were live in the building, and OKC came out to get involved with some top notch hip hop.
